Center for Training Cooperation and Development
On August 23, 2007, the Rector of Nghe An College of Economics and Technology issued Decision No. 214/QĐ-HT to establish the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics. Following the upgrade of the institution to university level, on November 12, 2014, the Rector of Nghe An University of Economics issued Decision No. 319/QĐ-ĐHKTNA to re-establish the Center for Foreign Languages and Informatics. On August 23, 2019, the Rector issued Decision No. 750/QĐ-ĐHKTNA, merging the Admissions Board into the Center and renaming it the “Center for Foreign Languages – Informatics – Admissions and Training Cooperation.” The Center is a legal entity with its own seal, operating under the direct supervision of the University’s Board of Management.
From a previously underperforming unit, the Center has experienced a breakthrough and comprehensive development since January 2013, thanks to the leadership of the Party Committee and the Board of Management, who proactively recruited a new director from outside the University. In addition to providing excellent support for core training programs in Informatics, Foreign Languages, and Computerized Accounting, the Center organizes dozens of training courses, examinations, and certifications annually for thousands of learners in English (Level B), Information Technology Applications, Chief Accountant training, Accounting Practices, Tax Services, and Computerized Accounting. The Center also collaborates in training communal civil servants under the Ministry of Home Affairs’ schemes, entrepreneurs under the Provincial People’s Committee’s schemes, and partners with nationwide academies and universities to conduct dozens of second-degree and postgraduate classes to provide human resources for Nghe An Province.
Parallel to admissions and training, the Center consistently encourages and provides favorable conditions for staff to enhance their professional qualifications and political theory. Currently, among the 06 staff members, there are 02 PhDs, 01 PhD candidate preparing for thesis defense, 02 Masters, and 01 Bachelor. Additionally, 03 staff members hold a second degree in English Language, 03 have intermediate degrees in Information Technology, 04 are Party members, and all hold or are pursuing political theory certifications.
Scientific research and the documentation of initiatives have also been actively pursued by the staff. Numerous research projects at the University, Provincial, and National levels have been approved, and many scientific articles have been published in journals with ISSN indices, recognized by the State Council for Professorship.
Reflecting these achievements, the Center’s collective and individual staff have been honored with numerous titles since 2015. Notably, the Center has twice received the title of “Excellent Advanced Labor Collective” from the Rector and twice the title of “Excellent Labor Collective” from the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee (academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018). The collective and 01 individual were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for outstanding achievements in the 2017-2019 period. In 2020, the Rector awarded a Certificate of Merit to the collective and 01 individual for outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement (2015-2020). Annually, 100% of the Center’s staff consistently achieve the title of “Advanced Laborer,” with 01 individual recognized as “Excellent Task Performer” and 01 as “Grassroots-level Emulation Fighter.”
