Center for Admissions and Communications
The Center for Admissions and Communications is a unit under the University, serving as an advisory and supporting body to the Rector in managing and organizing the University’s admissions and communications activities. The Center is responsible for planning and implementing admissions for various training levels, including preschool education (college level), full-time undergraduate programs, distance learning, and master’s programs with degrees awarded by Nghe An University. The Center handles communications, brand management, and the development and maintenance of the University’s image, ensuring that information and imagery are effectively conveyed to the public. The Center serves as the focal point for connecting the University with learners, society, businesses, and the community.
Tasks and Powers
1. Admissions Work a) Conduct market surveys, assess needs, and analyze the effectiveness of admissions channels and competitors to build an effective admissions strategy. b) Update, develop, implement, and guide the execution of legal documents regarding admissions. c) Advise on admissions strategy; preside over and coordinate the implementation of the University’s admissions plans and proposals. d) Organize programs and activities such as seminars and “Admissions Days” for career guidance to attract students and parents. e) Provide information, counseling, and support to students regarding training programs and enrollment procedures. f) Cooperate closely with faculties and departments to execute admissions effectively. g) Build and manage a database of potential candidates for long-term admissions purposes. h) Preside over admissions communication activities: direct counseling, online consulting, live-streaming, and coordination with high schools, media outlets, and social networks. i) Manage and analyze admissions data; forecast trends to propose plan adjustments. k) Develop admissions materials: brochures, videos, introduction slides, and annual admissions information. l) Act as the focal point for coordinating with units both inside and outside the University. m) Advise on financial support policies for students. n) Manage, organize, and coordinate the execution of admissions and enrollment regulations to ensure efficiency, fairness, and objectivity in strict compliance with the law.
2. Communications Work a) Update, develop, and implement regulations regarding communications and brand management across the system. b) Develop an annual overall communication plan to enhance the University’s image and position. c) Build, update, and manage content on communication platforms such as websites, social media, and publications. d) Conduct internal communications to increase engagement and information sharing among University units. e) Organize the production of news, reports, infographics, and videos introducing training majors and outstanding University activities. f) Coordinate events to promote the University’s image and activities. g) Manage the University’s information and image in mass media; act as the focal point for relations with press agencies. h) Advise and coordinate the handling of communication crises when necessary.
3. Brand Management a) Develop, manage, and implement the consistent use of the University’s brand identity. b) Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of branding and communication activities. c) Propose branding improvements and innovations suitable for the University’s development direction and practical requirements. d) Manage staff and employees effectively, implement professional development plans, and utilize resources and facilities efficiently in accordance with University regulations. e) Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Management.
4. Coordination Work The Center coordinates with various units across the University:
